Sanding and refinishing is where we started. Whether you installed the hardwood floors yourself or they are as old as the house, we can bring your hardwood floors and stair flights back to life by restoring them to their natural beauty. Choosing an experienced flooring contractor will prevent your floors from being sanded too deep, buffed uneven and ensure the surfaces and rooms are properly prepared, leaving no contaminants or dust particles in the finish.
One of the best recommendations we can make to add value to your home is to upgrade your kitchen. Complete kitchen remodels can be costly, however, one of the most cost effective ways to add style and color to your kitchen is with a unique tile backsplash. If you want to refresh your kitchen, but do not have a lot of time to spend on it, a good place to start is with tiling a backsplash. Choose from natural stone, travertene, ceramic or go with a mosaic tiled backsplash.
We work closely with manufacturers who supply tile systems designed to be waterproof, resist moisture and serve as a vapor barrier to prevent damage to the actual tile. Our manufacturers emphasize durability, longevity and overall functionality. We have a variety of choices of tile in natural stone, travertene, ceramic, and porcelain. You can accent these tiles by choosing one of the many glass and mosaics we offer. In many of our bathroom remodel projects we build showers with full tile surrounds and install tile to cover the lower half of the walls.
Staircases get nicked, scratched and take the brunt of foot traffic. Nothing will look more beautiful in your home than a newly restored staircase. Because of the tight spaces, small corners and angles, refinishing stairs is a labor-intensive process. The majority of work performed is done by hand with specialty tools. Our skills and experience will ensure your staircase will be as beautiful as the last.
Kitchens have the most foot traffic in the home. This is where food is prepared and cooked, where families gather in the morning and where guests are often entertained. Over time, wear and tear is an inevitable part of having tile floors in your kitchen. Chips, cracks, broken tile and stained grout lines are the most common complaint about tile flooring purchased from these retailers. Our tiles are the highest rating the industry has to offer.
Cold floors are a thing of the past. We all know what it is like stepping onto cold tile floors first thing in the morning or late at night. Radiant flooring systems can add that little bit of extra comfort by keeping your tiled floors nice and warm during those cold New England winters. These heating systems are a comfortable and efficient option to consider when having tile floors installed in your kitchen and bathroom.
